Introduction to (BCM) business continuity management training (full day)

Aim of the training:

Business continuity management is the holistic management process which identifies potential threats to an organisation and the impacts to business organisations that those threats, if realised, might cause.  

This process provides a framework for building organisational resilience with the capability for an effective response that safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, brand and value adding activities.

Learning objectives:

To ensure that all employees conduct their daily activities and operations within the organisation with the due cognizance of business continuity management and should be able to:

  • Articulate the requirements of BS 25999-2:2007 and BCM Part 2: Specification 
  • Describe the 6 steps of the BCM lifecycle 
  • Utilize the best practice techniques contained in BS 25999-1
