Business continuity management coordinators training (3 – 5 days)

Aim of the training:

The BCM process provides a framework for building organisational resilience with the capability for an effective response that safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, brand and value adding activities.

This course provides participants with practical tools and methods of implementing business continuity management and is based on industry best practice and the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Code of Practice released by BSI, BS 25999-1:2006. 

Learning objectives:

To ensure that all employees conduct their daily activities and operations within the organisation with the due cognizance of business continuity management and should be able to:

  • Articulate the requirements of BS 25999-2:2007 and BCMPart 2: Specification 
  • Describe and implement the 6 steps of the BCM lifecycle 
  • Implement a business continuity management system 
  • Utilize the best practice techniques contained in BS 25999-1
